Satuma Kurobuta pigs grazing freely on pasture in their natural environment

Real pork produced from our passion for delivering safe and secure food

Our passion for delivering “Foods helping create a safe and secure future for children growing toward the 21st century” has brought us to start farming of Kurobuta Pigs from scratch based on human health and pig’s life.

In the fresh air of the surrounding lush green nature of the Osumi Peninsula in Kagoshima Prefecture, we are raising and breeding pure-breed black pigs Roppaku Kurobuta and processing and distributing the pork.

We strive to create a more natural environment to ensure the pigs have no stress; our log cabin like piggery is built on the bactericidal Shirasu soil ground peculiar to Kagoshima and enclosed with wooden fence and roof.

We are also spreading the “Bio TY fungus”on the ground to increase aerobic bacteria to reduce pollution caused by bad odor of the farm and flies.

Mixture of non-genetically-modified grains individually delivered and sweet potatoes grown in our own organic farm field are mainly fed, antibiotics free and growth hormone free.

We have created an optimal environment with unlimited supply of natural mineral ion water pumped up from 86 meters underground.

Pigs can drink as much water as they want.

On sunny days the pigs spend their days outside grazing on pasture with natural benefits such as acorns and red soil containing a lot of minerals.

Livestock manure naturally fermented is utilized as compost to grow plants to feed them and so we have established an environment-preserving agriculture system.
